Ocean Shores Holiday Park is located at 32 Manning Street, Manning Point on Mitchells Island.
We are on the NSW Mid North Coast approximately halfway between Forster and Port Macquarie.
Manning Point is uniquely located on a long sandy spit between the beach and ocean to the east and the Manning River to the west.
Manning Point town is still reminiscent of a quaint coastal fishing village with the main street hugging the edge of the Manning River.
Only a short walk from Ocean Shores Holiday Park is our quaint town where you can while away the hours at the local cafe and fish and chips shop, enjoy lunch at the bowling club or, cast a line from one of the wooden jetties dotting the banks of the river and catch your own.

About Mitchells Island
Mitchells Island is the largest of the islands on the Manning River at approximately 130 sqm. Access onto the island is via Manning Point Road which runs from the town of Bohnock directly to Ocean Shores Holiday Park. On the island, there is a general grocery store with a newsagency, bowling club, cafe and fish and chip shop, and a bait shop.
Originally comprising large dairy farms, only one farm remains and Mitchells Island now consists of dense rainforest where you may even spot koalas, echidnas and wallabies.
Across the Manning River is Harrington, a sleepy fishing village. If you’re bringing your own boat, you can launch it from the Manning Point ramp and motor across for a visit.
There is four-wheel drive access onto the beach. Permits are issued by Mid Coast Council or can be obtained from the Bohnock bait shop.
